Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornstarch

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of oil

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Margarine and wheat flour to grease the pan

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a large bowl, mix cornstarch, sugar and salt.
  • Then add the eggs, milk and oil. Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Add the baking powder and mix gently until combined.
  • Grease a mold with margarine and wheat flour.
  • Pour the dough into the greased pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
  • Serve the corn cake in slices and enjoy!
