Blumhouse announced changes to the release schedule of its horror film projects.
The first of them is the sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s 2which is not being changed in date, but rather setting as release date December 5, 2025. The first delivery, Five Nights at Freddy’s It holds the record as Blumhouse's highest-grossing film of all time. Emma Tammi will return to direct the new installment.
Those that are receiving new release dates are the sequels M3GAN 2.0y The Black Phone 2.
First, M3GAN 2.0 is delayed by June 27, 2025; Previously it would premiere on May 16, 2025. Allison Williams y Violet McGraw will resume their leading roles, with Akela Cooper returning as screenwriter, and James Wan as a producer.
And finally, The Black Phone 2 is delayed by October 17, 2025instead of June 27, 2025.
