Lola Young «Flicker Of Light» – really catchy pop songs with a scratchy attitude are actually a British specialty. A great example of this is Lola Young – the young singer from the UK offers very catchy melodies on her new single, as well as scratchy guitars and an extreme Britishness (at least to my ears). Pretty great music!
Summer Whales «Crack!» – and then I'll stick with this kind of sound and 90s aesthetic, but this time from Japan. The band also has a wonderful rock-punk number on the way.
