Sunday (1994) «Blossom» – the first time I heard a song and a video by this band from the UK (with a Californian singer), I felt transported to the golden first Lana Del Rey days around 2011/2012. The style of the music clips in particular with the handheld camera and the copied animation elements reminded me of, for example, “Kinda outta luck” by Lana (while the typography of their merch revives the Smiths). But that is of course a big compliment from me. 🙂 And so the trio's new single really appealed to me, it sounds like a fitting farewell to summer and has a languid atmosphere.
Adé “Strongs” – the French singer, who caused a sensation in France with her debut some time ago, is back with a great single that is once again catchy.
