In November, Warner Bros. the thriller will be released in theaters Juror #2the fortieth feature film of Clint Eastwood as a director, which is said, could mark his farewell to the world of cinema. The actor and director is 92 years old and has dedicated six decades to the seventh art.

The Eastwood and WB film officially starts the marketing campaign with the release of the first traileravailable at the end of this note.

The story focuses on a murder trialfocusing on one of the jurors when he realizes, during the case, that he killed the victim in a traffic accident.

The cast is headed by Nicholas Hoult (Nosferatu, The Menu), Toni Collette (Hereditary, The Sixth Sense), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash, Saturday Night), Chris Messina (Air, The Boogeyman), Zoey Deutch (Not Okay, Set It Up), Cedric Yarbrough (Reno 911!, The Goldbergs), y Kiefer Sutherland (Designated Survivor, 24).

Gabriel Basso (The Night Agent), Leslie Bibb (Palm Royale), Francesca Eastwood (Old), complete the cast.

Hoult plays Justin Kemp, the described juror, while Collette plays the role of prosecutor in the trial.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“Justin Kemp is a family man who, while serving as a juror in a murder trial, faces a grave moral dilemma that he could use to influence the jury's verdict and convict – or free – the wrong killer.”

Jonathan Abrams wrote the script. Producers include Eastwood, Matt Skiena, Adam Goodman, Tim Moore and Jessica Meier. Executive producers are David M. Bernstein, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell.

Eastwood made his directorial debut in 1971 with Play Misty for Me. He has been awarded the Oscar for best director twice, for Unforgiven (1992) y Million Dollar Baby (2004). Other of his recognized projects behind the lens include The Bridges of Madison County, A Perfect World, Mystic River, Flags of Our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, Changeling, Invictus, Jersey Boys, American Sniper, Sully, Richard Jewell.

His most recent work as a director is Cry Machoreleased in 2021 with a simultaneous release in theaters and on HBO Max, as part of the strategy implemented at that time by Warner Bros. as a result of the pandemic.

Juror #2 will have a limited release in the United States on November 1, while in the international market it will be released on October 30 in theaters.
