ITN Studios and Jagged Edge Productions continue preparations for Poohniverse: Monsters Assemblea crossover of the horror genre with characters from the Twisted Childhood Universe or “twisted children's universe” such as Pooh, Bambi, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, The Mad Hatter, Rabbit.
These characters originate from individual installments such as Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeyare Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare y Pinocchio Unstrung.
The most recent news announces that the film Poohniverse, was pre-sold all over the world at the American Film Market (AMF) film market.
Deadline reports the following distributors by market:
Premiere Entertainment Group has licensed the rights, including the film components, in Latin America (BF Distribution)Germany and Italy (Plaion), United Kingdom (Altitude), Benelux (ND Pictures), France (Factoris), Australia and New Zealand (Umbrella), Turkey (BG Films), Russia/CIS (Voxell), Japan (New Select ), Taiwan (Movie Cloud), Malaysia (Mega Films), Mongolia (Filmbridge) and Pakistan (Cine Entertainment).
ITN will handle distribution in the United States and Canada.
The Principal photography is scheduled to begin in March 2025. Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Pinocchio Unstrung) will be the director of the Poohniverse, with a script written by him and Scott Chambers.
The plot is being kept under wraps from the slasher crossover that will see the monsters team up to take on the survivors from the previous films.
“All these characters will come together in Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble in 2025, when the monsters join forces to conquer the world.”

In a previous statement to the media, Frake-Waterfield commented:
“It will be total carnage. We are heavily influenced by Freddy vs. Jason and the Avengers. We'd love to see a horror movie where the villains band together and chase their survivors.. We have some amazing scenes in mind and some sequences that I think will really surprise people. The films we are working on now independently are moving towards Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.”
Chambers added:
“Like The Avengers, we will follow Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell joining forces to wreak havoc. We are working with a larger budget on this one and are excited about what the future holds. When you watch the independent films, you'll see Easter eggs that hint at the crossover. Some of the villains won't agree either, allowing for a massacre within the group in an epic monster-on-monster sequence..”
The cast will include Chambers (playing Christopher Robin as in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2), Megan Plactio like Wendy Darling, Roxanne Mckee like Xana, Lewis Santer as Tigger and Martin Portlock as Peter Pan.
The sequel was released in theaters this year. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey IIwhile subsequent releases include Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare y Bambi: The Reckoningwhich scheduled its arrival on the big screen for the first quarter of 2025.
The making of these films came to fruition after a series of iconic characters, many of whose global fame was boosted by Disney, entered the public domain after their copyrights expired.
