Anna Camp se suma a ‘Scream 7’

The cast of the next installment of the slasher franchise, Scream 7continues to grow. With filming set to begin at the beginning of 2025, the project has remained busy giving life and shape to its cast.

The most recent signing to be completed is that of Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect, Unexpected), with no details about the role he will play (via Deadline). Camp joins new additions to the saga such as Isabel May (1883), Celeste O’Connor (Freaky), Asa Germann (The Boys), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) y Sam Calculator (The Fabelmans).

The seventh installment will feature the returns of Neve Campbell in her long-awaited return as the Scream Queen, Sidney Prescott, after having been absent from the previous installment, Scream VIdue to a salary dispute, Courteney Cox reprising his role as Gale Weathers, and Mason Gooding como Chad Meeks-Martin.

Jasmin Savoy Brownwho plays Mindy, Chad's twin sister, is not on board the project at the moment.

Camp is best known for her role in the comedy and music franchise, Pitch Perfect. In addition, he has been part of series such as Hysteria!, Good Girls Revolt, The Good Wife, True Bloody The Mindy Project. It is expected that Filming will begin in early 2025.

Paramount Pictures will distribute the film produced by Spyglass Media, with a release date set in theaters around the world for February 27, 2026.
