The horror and science fiction project, Companionof Warner Bros. y New Line Cinemashared the first official full trailer.
Companion marks the debut of Drew Hancock as a feature film director. Hancock also wrote the script. Zach Cregger (director of Barbarian) is the producer.
Plot details had been kept under wraps until now, with the release of the trailer, we can find out what's really happening.

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) awarded Companion the Rated R by:
“Strong violence, sexual content and language throughout.”
Companion It is one of the projects carried out under the agreement that Cregger signed with New Line, after the box office and critical success of his film Barbarianwhich in turn, marked Cregger's debut as a horror film director. Other projects that are developed under the agreement are Weaponswritten and directed by Creggers.
Raphael Margules and JD Lifshitz of BouldeLight are the producers of Companionalongside Vertigo's Roy Lee. Tracy Rosenblum and Andrew Childs are executive producers.
Warner Bros. releases Companion in theaters on January 30, 2025 in Mexico and the rest of Latin America under the title perfect companionand the January 31, 2025 in the United States.
