Magnolia Pictures presented the official trailer of the independent film drama, Eric LaRuethat marks the debut in the direction of feature film of the actor Michael Shannon.

Synopsis:

“In the film, Janice (Greer) faces the consequences of the murder of three classmates from his school by his son. He fights and advances for life as if he were in a mist, not being able to leave his anger and frustration behind. While her husband (Skarsgård) has found refuge in a new church, Janice is difficult to seek comfort in her faith despite the pleas of her pastor to hear her wounds meeting with the mothers of her son's victims. While Janice reflects on what that meeting could achieve for her and her community, Eric LaRue He asks us to witness the worn emotional waves that can generate violent acts. ”

Shannon directed the script of Brett Neveuwho adapts his own famous play of 2002 that serves as the basis for the film.
