Warner Bros. presented the first full trailer of Wuthering Heightsa film adaptation of the classic literary work by Emily Brontë better known as Wuthering Heights in our region.
Described as “a bold and original imagination of one of the greatest love stories of all time,” it stars Margot Robbie (Barbie) y Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein), as Cathy and Heathcliff, respectively, whose forbidden passion transforms from romantic to intoxicating in an epic tale of desire, love and madness.
The Oscar winner, Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, Saltburn), is the screenwriter, director and producer of the project.

The rest of the cast includes Owen Cooper (Adolescence), Hong Chau (The Whale), Alison Oliver (Saltburn), y Shazad Latif (The Commuter).
Brontë's original novel, published in 1847, is considered by many to be one of the great works of literature. The original story follows two families, the Earnshaws and the Lintons, and their turbulent relationship with the Earnshaws' adopted son, Heathcliff.
SYNOPSIS:
“A love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.”
Robbie's LuckyChap company produces the feature film alongside Fennell, marking their third collaboration, after LuckyChap produced Fennell's two previous films, Promising Young Woman y Saltburn. The first of them earned Fennell the Oscar for best original screenplay.
Behind the camera, Fennell worked with frequent collaborators such as Oscar- and BAFTA-winning cinematographer Linus Sandgren; Oscar and BAFTA nominated production designer Suzie Davies; BAFTA-nominated editor Victoria Boydell; renowned casting director Kharmel Cochrane; and BAFTA-nominated composer Anthony Willis. Oscar and BAFTA winner Jacqueline Durran designed the costumes.
The film features original songs by Charli xcx.
MRC is financing the project with Warner Bros. as the distributor.
Wuthering Heights premieres in Latin American theaters on February 12, 2026and on February 13 in the United States.
