Apple TV shared the first official trailer of the second season of The Last Thing He Told Methe mystery thriller series starring and executive produced by Jennifer Garner.
The trailer debuts a month after the premiere of the second season, with a premiere set for Apple TV on Friday February 20, 2026with the release of the first episode.
The season will consist of 8 episodes that will be released weekly every Friday, until the season finale on April 10.
The series returns almost three years after the premiere of the first, launched on the platform in April 2023.

In addition to Garner, the other returning main cast members are Angourie Rice (Mare of Easttown), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove y Michael Hyatt.
New additions include Judy Greer (The Long Walk), Rita Wilson (Asteroid City), Michael Galante (The Haves and the Have Nots), John Noble (Severance), y Luke Kirby (Dr. Death).
The first season follows Hannah Hall (Garner) entering into an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Bailey (Rice) as she searches for the truth about why her husband Owen Michaels (Coster-Waldau) has mysteriously disappeared.
The first season ended with Owen quietly and subtly letting Hannah know he was still around. Hannah had struck a deal with Bailey's grandfather, Nicholas Bell (played by David Morse): None of the three would be harmed if Owen agreed to stay away from Bailey. This is also where author Laura Dave's first novel ends, The Last Thing He Told Me.
In the second season of The Last Thing He Told Mewhen Owen (Coster-Waldau) appears after five years on the run, Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) find themselves in a race against time to find a way to reunite their family before the past catches up with them.
This new season is based on the sequel novel of Laura Dave, The First Time I Saw Himwhich was published on January 6, 2026. Dave is the creator and screenwriter of the series along with Josh Singer. Both are also executive producers.

“Are you trying to build a case that will take down the Campanos?” Hannah asks her husband in the trailer. “They are erratic and immoral people.”
“Isn't it safer if we stay away from him?” Bailey asks Hannah. After all, they've already gotten used to their lives without Owen.
Executive producers are Garner, Hello Sunshine's Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter, Daisy von Scherler Mayer, Merry D. Howard, Dave, and co-showrunners Josh Singer and Aaron Zelman.
