The second season of the legal drama Presumed Innocent of Apple TV+ has a new member for the cast of its new season.

The star of the animated phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters, Ji-young Yoo joined the cast of the second season in a recurring role (via Deadline).

Ji-young is the newest member of a cast that previously announced Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Superman) as protagonist and executive producer, along with Matthew Rhys (The Beast in Me), Courtney B. Vance (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve), Jack Reynor (Midsummer), John’s Machine (Past Lives, Materialists), Michael Hsu Rosen (Tiny Pretty Things) y Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer).

In addition to lending her voice to Zoey in KPop Demon HuntersJi-young has been part of projects such as Until Dawn, Freaky Tales, Smoking Tigersand the miniseries Expats.

The series is created by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Lincoln Lawyer, Love & Death).

Kelley is the screenwriter, executive producer and showrunner of Presumed innocent. In the second season, he will be a coshowrunner with Erica Lipez (The Morning Show, We Were the Lucky Ones).

The series, originally intended as a limited series, was renewed for a second season and converted into an anthology series after the viewing success of its first season on Apple TV.

The second season will focus on a new caseand a new protagonist (Brosnahan).

In the first season of the legal procedural series, Gyllenhaal plays Rusty Sabich, a Chicago prosecutor who becomes the prime murder suspect.
