Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, bacon bits, chives

Directions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then dry them with a paper towel.
  • Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with salt and black pepper.
  • Use a fork to poke several holes around each potato to allow steam to escape.
  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  • Air fry for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skins are crispy and a fork easily pierces the center.
  • Slice open the potatoes, fluff the inside with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
