Croatia will have 12 remaining players from the 2022 World Cup in a 'rematch' with Brazil; see list

The selection of Croatia released the list of 26 called up for the March FIFA Date friendlies against Colombia e Brazilwhich will be held in the United States. It will be the first clash between Brazilians and Croatians since the quarter-finals of World cup 2022, when the Seleção was eliminated on penalties.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will have his first big test against a European team. On the other side, coach Zlatko Dalic is betting on continuity, bringing 12 players who tasted victory over Brazil in the 2022 World Cup.

The Croatian backbone remains solid. Among those called up, standout Livakovic and star Luka Modric, who will now meet his former Real Madrid coach on opposite sides of the field.

Interestingly, the names that sealed Brazil's fate in 2022, Bruno Petkovic (scorer of the equalizing goal) and Mislav Orsic (who provided the assist), were left out of the final list and will only travel in the event of cuts.
