The trailer for the 2nd season of 'Running Point' reveals the arrival of new players

New season, new game, and new characters.

Netflix debuted the official trailer for the second season of the comedy and sports series, Running Pointknown as A new play in our region, starring Kate Hudson (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Almost Famous).

The preview shows Hudson's returns, and Justin Theroux, Brenda Songalong with special appearances by new cast members such as Oscar winner, Octavia Spencer (The Help), Add Chest, Nicole Richie, Scott Speedman (Grey’s Anatomy, Felicity) y Ike Barinholtz (The Studio), who is also the co-creator of the series.

In the first season of Running Pointafter a scandal leads to her brother's forced resignation, Isla Gordon (Hudson) is named the new president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball team, much to the displeasure of the men around her. Isla has to prove to her siblings, the board of directors and the wider sporting community that she is fit for the job and can handle the stressors that come with it.

In the second seasonGordon (Hudson) Island is determined not to limit herself to maintain his brother Cam's (Theroux) position at the head of the Los Angeles Waves, after the scandal of the previous season. Meanwhile, Cam secretly plots how to get his job backturning every mistake into ammunition.

Other members of the main cast are Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Chet Hanks, Toby Sandemany Aganda mind. Guest stars include Max Greenfield, Jay Ellis, Roberto Sanchez, Jon Glaser, Scott Evans, Rob Huebel, Marissa Reyes, Blake Anderson, Ken Marino, Tommy Dewey, Richa Moorjani, Aliyah Turnery Jake Picking. Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond) joins the cast of the second season playing coach Norm Stinson, a basketball genius turned hermit who will join Isla (Hudson) to rediscover his passion for sports and life.

The series is created by the team of The Mindy Project, Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz y David Stassenwho also produce, with Stassen as the showrunner.

Executive producers are Hudson, Howard Klein, Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis.

The second season of Running Point premieres April 23 on Netflix.
