The third season of 'The Pitt' will be set in November

The acclaimed medical drama, The Pittwill change its setting for the third season.

For the next season, the audience will be able to see the team of doctors and nurses from the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, in a cold environment, as the plot will take place in early November, during the fall-winter season in the northern hemisphere.

The first season took place during a 15-hour shift in September, while the second season jumped forward ten months to take place during the Fourth of July celebration.

According to a report from Variety, the creator of the series, R. Scott Gemmillconfirmed that the third season will take place in November to incorporate the cold weather into the plots, “Just before the holidays, a new wave of emergencies, confrontations and complications arrives.”

Filming for the third season will begin in June of this year, with plans to shoot on location in Pittsburgh to capture the cold, autumn and early winter atmosphere.
