You’ll be surprised by how easy it is to make this delicious Alpine chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 250g dulce de leche

  • 180g sweetened condensed milk

  • 250g semi-sweet chocolate

  • 3 cartons of heavy cream (200g each)

  • 2 tablespoons or 40g of 50% cocoa powder

Directions

  • In a saucepan, while still off the heat, add the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, dulce de leche, cocoa powder, and melted semi-sweet chocolate.
  • Place the saucepan over high heat and stir constantly until it starts to boil. Keep stirring for another 6 to 8 minutes, until the cream thickens.
  • Transfer the chocolate mixture to a container, cover it with plastic wrap touching the surface, and let it cool completely.
  • Enjoy the Alpine chocolate by the spoonful or use it in dessert recipes. Keep refrigerated before and after serving.
