Peacock debuted the teaser trailer for its upcoming miniseries, , The Good Daughterstarring Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, Platonic) y Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus, Sirens), ahead of its premiere on the streamer in November.
The miniseries of 6 episodes is based on the bestseller Karin Slaughterwho writes and executive produces the Peacock project, for which she is also the showrunner.
Jessica Biel was originally announced to star and executive produce, but she bowed out of the project in 2024. Byrne and Fahy lead a cast that includes Brendan Gleeson, Harper Steele, Olivia Williams, Drew Ann Cheek, Audrey Grace Marshall y Michael Dorman.

The Good Daughter tells the story of two estranged sisters, who try to rebuild their lives after a traumatic event. The Quinn sisters, Samantha and Charlotte, have spent the last twenty-eight years trying to piece together lives fractured by a single night of violence.

When another attack rocks the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte, now a lawyer like her father, is the first witness to arrive on the scene.
