The fruit’s natural tanginess balances out the sweetness of the orange pudding, creating a well-balanced flavor.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml milk

  • 500 ml fresh orange juice

  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch (80 g)

  • 1 can (395 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • Grated coconut to taste for decoration (optional)

Directions

  • In a saucepan, while it is still off the heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk with the cornstarch and stir until completely dissolved. Add the milk and strained orange juice, then mix well while still off the heat.
  • Turn the heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes creamy, smooth, and homogeneous.
  • Transfer the creamy mixture to a pudding mold lightly greased with oil on the bottom and sides. Smooth the surface.
  • Allow the mixture to cool completely at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Gently shake the mold to loosen the pudding, then quickly invert it onto a plate larger than the mold to unmold.
  • Finish by sprinkling grated coconut over the top and sides for decoration. Your orange pudding is ready to serve.
