The dough for this passion fruit cake with syrup is super fluffy and tasty!

Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 3 eggs (150 grams)

  • 2 cups (tea) wheat flour (270 grams)

  • 1 cup (tea) + 2 tablespoons (soup) sugar (240 grams)

  • 1 tablespoon (soup) of chemical yeast (14 grams)

  • 1 cup (tea) concentrated passion fruit juice (240ml)

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil (120 ml)

  • 1 large passion fruit

  • 1/2 cup (tea) sugar (100 grams)

Directions

  • Add the eggs and sugar to a bowl and beat well. 
    Then add the oil, wheat flour, salt and passion fruit juice. 
    Beat again very well. 
    Place the yeast and mix gently until the dough is smooth and uniform.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet with butter or margarine and sprinkled with sugar. 
    Preheat the oven to 180º₢ and bake the cake for approximately 50 minutes, or until the fork comes out clean when skewered.
  • To make the syrup for the cake add the pulp of a large passion fruit and the sugar in a pan. 
    Take to the fire and let cook for about 2 minutes after boiling. 
    Pour the syrup over the passion fruit cake and the recipe is ready to eat.
