This soft dough cheese bread recipe is mouthwatering and guarantees a special snack!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of sour starch

  • 150 grams of cheese

  • 100 grams of lard or 100 ml of oil

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1 cup of water (tea)

  • 1 cup of milk (tea)

  • 1/2 cup ice water (cold)

Directions

  • Put the pork lard or oil, milk and 1 cup of water in a pan and heat until it boils. 
    In a separate container, add the sour starch and salt, mix well and add the hot milk mixture. 
    Stir again and add the ice water, eggs, cheese and stir again very well.
  • Shape the loaves with the help of two spoons and place them side by side on a greased baking sheet. 
    Take it to the preheated oven at 200º₢ and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the cheese breads are very golden and the recipe is ready to serve.
