Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato sticks with the olive oil, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  • Add the salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper, if using.
Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  • Place the potato sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket to allow for adequate air circulation.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure the potatoes cook evenly.
  • Check the crispness of the potatoes after 15 minutes and adjust the cooking time as needed.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer when they are golden and crispy.
  • Serve the potatoes hot with your favorite sauce.
