Ingredients
1 cup of wheat flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Oil or butter to grease the pan
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and add the milk and melted butter.
Mix well. - Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredient mixture and stir until the batter is smooth.
The dough should have a slightly thick consistency. - Heat a frying pan over medium heat and grease it with a little oil or butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the heated skillet.
- Cook until bubbles appear on the surface of the pancake and the edges begin to look firm.
- Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook the other side until golden.
- Repeat the process until all the dough is used.
