Make a minced meat dumpling using the ingredients below and following the preparation instructions below.

Ingredients

  • 500g ground meat (can be beef, pork or a mix)

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 2 tablespoons green chives (parsley and chives), chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Frying oil

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, green chilli, salt and pepper. 
    Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Model small portions of the mixture into balls, giving the dumplings the desired shape.
  • Heat a frying pan with oil over medium heat.
  • When the oil is hot, add the dumplings little by little, without crowding the pan.
  • Fry the dumplings until they are golden on all sides. 
    Make sure to turn them so they cook evenly.
  • Remove the dumplings from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve the minced meat dumplings hot, accompanied by your favorite sauce.
