Simple Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 200g semi-sweet or milk chocolate (you can use chocolate chips)

  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

Directions

  • Chop the chocolate into small pieces to make it easier to melt.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat. 
    Do not let it boil, just heat until bubbles start to form around the edges of the pan.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped chocolate to the heated cream. 
    Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Let the frosting cool slightly before using it. 
    It will get thicker as it cools.
  • Pour frosting over the cake, cupcake or dessert of your choice.
