3 medium carrots
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
A bit of salt
4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round pan with butter and wheat flour.
- Peel and cut the carrots into small pieces.Â
Then, blend in a blender along with the eggs and oil until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. - In a large bowl, mix the sugar, wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
- Pour the liquid mixture from the blender into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Transfer the dough to the previously greased pan and place in the preheated oven.Â
Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. - While the cake bakes, prepare the chocolate frosting.Â
In a pan, melt the butter over low heat, add the chocolate powder, milk and sugar.Â
Mix well until you get a creamy consistency.Â
Turn off the heat and set aside. - Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before unmolding.Â
Then, unmold the cake and place it on a serving plate. - Pour the chocolate frosting over the cake, spreading it evenly.
