Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of oil
1 cup of milk
3 cups of sweet cassava starch
1 cup of grated cheese (it can be standard Minas cheese, semi-cured cheese, or another cheese of your choice)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a mold with butter or oil and sprinkle with a little sweet cassava starch.
- In a blender, add the eggs, oil and milk. Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- In a large bowl, pour the blender mixture and add the sweet tapioca little by little, mixing well to avoid lumps.
- Add the grated cheese and salt to the mixture and stir until well incorporated.
- Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before unmolding. Serve warm or at room temperature.
