In a month we will have the theatrical release of A Haunting in Venicethe latest installment in the franchise from 20th Century Studios and the director of Kenneth Branaghinspired by the work of Agatha Christie, which started with Murder on the Orient Express in 2017, and continued with Death on the Nile in 2022
The studio is continuing the film’s marketing campaign by sharing a handful of character posters featuring the new suspects and a featurette.

The film is based on Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party. The script was adapted by Michael Green, scriptwriter of the two previous installments. In our market it is called Hunting in Venice.
Plot-wise, it is set in a spooky post-WWII Venice on the eve of All Saints’ Day and is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated detective, Hercule Poirot (Branagh). Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the most glamorous city in the world, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance in a haunted and ruined palace. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrown into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
Branagh is accompanied in the cast by Kyle Allen (Rosaline), Camille Cottin (Call My Agent), Jamie Dornan (Belfast), Tina Fey (30 Rock), Jude Hill (Belfast), Ali Khan (6 Underground), Emma Laird (Mayor of Kingstown), Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone), Ricardo Scamarcio (Caravaggio’s Shadow), and the Oscar-winning Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
The supernatural horror thriller was produced by Branagh, alongside Judy Hofflund, Ridley Scott, and Simon Kinberg. Executive producers are Louise Killin, James Prichard, and Mark Gordon. Oscar winner Hildur Guđnadóttir (Joker) composed the original soundtrack.
20th Century Studios will premiere A Haunting in Venice on September 15, 2023 in theaters.
