Hurray, it is done, I have them 20 years of Coast is Clear blog So actually reached. 🙂 As I wrote about the development of my musical taste last year (>> here) a lot has happened over time-the end of the British dominance and the beginning of the Scandinavians in the 2000s (without Scandinavian music, this blog would never have been started). Then came the slow degree of indie enthusiasm and in 2012 the meteorite rise of Lana del Rey in my personal listening, and finally with BabyMetal and thus Japan 2020 the beginning of a new chapter for me.
I tried to keep the blog more on the indie course so as not to scare too many readers ;-), with the side effect that he only partially reflected the music that really inspires me. I've been trying to change that recently, but if I would really make it consistent, the orientation of Coast is Clear would look noticeably different. At the moment I discover a great new band from mostly Japan almost every day and so I always have something to report in this regard, but then I lack the time. (And I don't think that so many of you would be interested-I can only refer to my Spotify playlist, which are also linked here, especially the Japanese.)
In any case, many thanks to everyone who took all of my mistakes and tribulations in the music jungle, and now I have a new destination for the blog with a 25th anniversary. 🙂
PS: Here is an example of an up -and -coming Japanese Indieband, which recently ran into me, which I would not necessarily present here in the regular framework (but now).
