The hunt is about to begin with the release of Kraven the Huntery Sony Pictures prepares the audience for the launch of this new film from Sony's Marvel universe, and the first to be Rated R.
The film focuses on the origin story of Kraven (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson), promising to accompany it with violent and bloody scenes.
The latest in the marketing campaign is a new look at Kraven, shared by Fandango. It is available at the end of this note.
By the way, the Motion Picture Association (MPA) gave it the Rated R for:
“Strong, bloody violence, and inappropriate language.”
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story of how and why one of Marvel's most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the titular character in the R-rated film.
The rest of the cast is made up Ariana DeBose (West Side Story, House of Spoils) like Calypso, Christopher Abbott (Wolf Man, Possessor) como The Foreigner, Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) as The Rhino, Levi Miller (Better Watch Out), Fred Hechinger (Gladiator II, The White Lotus) y Russell Crowe (Gladiator, Unhinged).
J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All Is Lost, A Most Violent Year, Triple Frontier) directs the script of Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Uncharted, Transformers: The Last Knight), y Richard Wenk (The Equalizer, The Equalizer 2).
After many changes to the release schedule, Sony's Columbia Pictures will release Kraven The Hunter he December 13, 2024.
