Aisagosu eye shadow «Midnight Lily ( Mayonaka no riryi / Mitternachtslilie) )» – it still blows my mind how many cool Japanese bands I discover almost every day, many of them just at the beginning of their careers. For example, aisagosu eye shadow, who plays a kind of “typical” Japanese indie – melodic, with a strong bass, beautiful voice, varied and somehow interesting. The band released their album “Screw” in March this year and are already working on the follow-up, from which this great song comes. But they also have completely different sounds, as you can hear in the metal-like song “ex;curse velvet” (with dance beats). One of the strengths of Japanese acts is that they are so versatile.
Crabber «Life before the internet» – well, only the older ones among us remember life without the Internet… The Hamburg indie band Crabber takes us on this journey in their new single, surrounded by pleasant lofi twee guitar music.
