XYZ Films revealed the First trailer teaser Officer of The Rituala new director's exorcism film David Midell (The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain), who wants to fight the Warren and the El Conjuro franchise, then The film is based on the real history of exorcism better documented in the history of the United States.
In The ritual, To the Pacino (The Godfather, House of Gucci), And Stevens (Cuckoo, Abigail) They play two priests who must put their differences aside and save the lives of a young woman possessed.
The plot addresses the real story of the possession of Emma Schmidt.
Pacino plays Father Theophilus Riesinger, a priest with a turbulent past, while Stevens plays Father Joseph Steiger, a priest who is going through a crisis of faith.
The advance, available at the end of the note, promotes the film as “The most scary exorcism in American history,” With the character of Pacino warning in voiceover that the devil will do everything possible to prevent exorcism from being successful.
This is a film that takes Pacino back to the demonic paths, 28 years after he played the devil in The devil's lawyer (The Devil’s Advocate1997).

Midell y Enrico Natale They wrote the script of The Ruital. Both have collaborated in more than a dozen films.
Andrew Stevens, Mitchell Welch, Ross Kagan Marks, and Natale produce the feature film. The executive producers are Lee Broda, Chris Paladino, Jeff Rice, and Jordan Wagner.
The Ritual It opens in cinemas on June 6, 2025.
