Alien: Romulusthe new installment of the horror and science fiction saga Alienhas just announced the date on which it will be debuting in HuluDisney's streaming service aimed at young adult and adult audiences.
The film directed and co-written by Fede Álvarez (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead) will be available on Hulu in the US starting November 21, 2024. This means that 20th Century Studios will give it a 98-day theatrical window, a pretty good window.
In Digital format it has been available since October 15, while on DVD and Blu-ray it will be released on December 3.
It remains to be seen if this will be the same date that the film will premiere on Disney Plus in the Latin American market.

Romulus sets its plot 20 years after the original installment, Alien (1979) de Ridley Scott, positioning yourself on the timeline between said film and the sequel Aliens(1986) by James Cameron.
An important fact about this new film is that unlike the other installments that focused on adults in corporate, military and scientific roles, this ninth installment of the franchise focuses on a group of young people.
The cast is headed by Cailee Spaeny (Civil War, Priscilla, Mare of Easttown), Isabela Merced (Tansformers: The Last Knight, Instant Family), Archie Renaux (Upgraded, The Other Zoey), David Johnson (Industry), Spike Fearn (After sun), y Aileen Wu.

“ALIEN: ROMULUS returns to the roots of the successful ALIEN franchise. While exploring the depths of an abandoned space station, a group of young space colonists come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.”
Álvarez co-wrote the script with his frequent collaborator Rodo Sayagues (remake Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe, Don’t Breathe 2remake Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and produced the feature film in the company of Ridley Scottdirector of the original classic and the prequels Prometheus y Alien: Covenant.
