We already have the First official advance of The Housemaid.
The film project, entitled The employee In our market, it is directed by Paul Feig (A Simple Favor), and starring Sydney Sweeney (Immaculate, Anyone But You), Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!, The Dropout), Brandon Sklenar (It Ends With Us, 1923), y Michele Morrone (365 Days, Another Simple Favor).
The plot, based on the homonymous bestseller of Frerida McFadden, follows Millie (Sweeney), a young woman who works as a housekeeper for the wealthy Winchester family. In an attempt to recover after a brief prison period, Millie works diligently in the family home and narrows her relationship with marriage. As he becomes familiar with the Winchester, he soon discovers what is behind the facade of the seemingly perfect family and is unraveling the dark secrets that are hidden after family decline.
The advance shared by Lionsgateand Films heart in Mexico, is available at the end of the note. It is accompanied by the musical theme “Please, Please, Please” by Sabrina Carpenter.
The cast also includes Elizabeth Perkins (Another Simple Favor, The Afterparty), Megan Ferguson (reboot Gossip Girl), y Ellen Tamaki (Manifest).
Feig directs the script of Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys).
