We are already a little more than a month away from the cinema release of Terrifier 3the new sequel of the franchise Terrifier from the screenwriter and director Damien Leonewhich will take us back to the slasher world of Art the Clown.

The sadistic clown is back, now in a bloody December setting, as the third installment, in case you missed it, It's a Christmas horror movie.

David Howard Thornton y Lauren LaVera reprise their roles as Art the Clown and “final girl” Sienna, respectively.

It is Art who we see dressed as Santa Claus on board a van, ready to spread “joy” to everyone who crosses his path. The image shared by USA TODAY is available at the end of this article.

In Terrifier 3Art the Clown will unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of quiet Miles County as they peacefully fall asleep on Christmas Eve.

And when we say chaos, we don't use the word timidly. Leone has set out to make this new sequel up the gore and brutality. The filmmaker previously revealed that he shot “one of the most incredibly horrifying scenes in the Terrifier franchise”. And this same day, the director announced on X/Twitter that “This is definitely the bloodiest entry in the franchise.” We have been warned.

The project was officially launched in May 2023, with the return of Leone and the producer. Phil Falcone.

Other returns to the cast are Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullamand AEW superstar, Chris Jericho. Additionally, Daniel Roebuck joined in to bring Santa Claus to life.

The “trequela” obtained a budget in the low-mid seven-figure range, a significant increase compared to Terrifier with a budget of $55,000 usd, and the sequel Terrifier 2which was made with an approximate budget of $250,000 USD, and had a box office of more than USD $15 million worldwide.

Falcone, Steven Della Salla, Jason Leavy and Michael Leavy are the producers. Dark Age Cinema is the producing company.

Terrifier 3 will have its world premiere on Thursday, September 19, 2024 on the stage of the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, during the opening night of the film festival.

Later, On October 11, 2024, it will be released in theaters from the United States and Canada, courtesy of CineVerse, Bloody Disgusting and Iconic Events Releasing.
