Ingredients
200g chopped bacon
2 tablespoons butter or oil
1 medium onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 cups of cassava flour
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Chopped green chili to taste (optional)
Directions
- In a large skillet, fry the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
- In the same frying pan, add the butter or oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden and soft.
- Add the cassava flour to the pan and mix well with the onion and garlic, letting it brown for a few minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, remembering that the bacon is already salty, so adjust the salt according to your personal taste.
- Add the reserved bacon back to the skillet and mix well.
- If desired, add chopped green scent to finish.
- Serve hot as an accompaniment to various dishes, such as beans, rice, grilled meats, etc.
