Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1/2 cup green corn

  • 1/2 cup peas

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (medium temperature).
  • In a blender, add the eggs, milk, oil, wheat flour, baking powder and salt. 
    Beat well until you get a homogeneous mass.
  • In a pan, heat a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
  • Add the shredded chicken, tomatoes, green corn and peas. 
    Season with salt and pepper to taste. 
    Cook for a few minutes, just to heat the filling and blend the flavors. 
    Turn off the heat and add the chopped parsley.
  • In a greased shape with butter and flour, pour half the dough from the blender.
  • Spread the chicken filling over the dough.
  • Cover the filling with the rest of the dough, spreading it out gently to cover the entire pie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before unmolding and serving.
