Brandon Cronenberg, director of titles as Antiviral y Possessorhas everything ready for the release of his third feature film, the science fiction horror Infinity Pool.
Along with the first official trailer, it is announced that the feature film NEON y Topic Studios will be released in theaters in the United States on January 27, 2023.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“While staying at a secluded island resort, James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) enjoy the perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff and soaking up the sun. But led by the alluring and mysterious Gabi (Mia Goth), they venture off the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and unspeakable horror. A tragic accident leaves them faced with a zero-tolerance policy on crime: Either they execute you, or, if you’re rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die in their place.”
The supporting cast is made up of Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale), Thomas Kretschman (Penny Dredful: City of Angels), Cleopatra Coleman (Dopesick), John Ralston (Ready Or Not), Caroline Boulton (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent), y Amar Bukvic (Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard).
In recent weeks, the MPA has awarded Infinity Pool an R-Rating for:
“Graphic violence, disturbing material, strong sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use and some language.
NEON is co-financing the project with Telefilm Canada and the Croatian Film Fund. Karen Harnisch and Andrew Cividino of Film Forge, Noah Segal and Christina Piovesan of Elevation Pictures, and Rob Cotterill are producing. Skarsgård executive produces with NEON’s Tom Quinn, Jeff Deutchman and Emily Thomas, Topic Studios’ Michael Bloom, Maria Zuckerman and Ryan Heller, and Celluloid Dreams’ Hengameh Panahi and Charlotte Mickie. Daniel Kresmery and Jonathan Halperyn are co-producers for Hero Squared, and Anita Juka for 4 Film.
NEON will distribute the film in the United States, and Elevation Pictures in Canada. The distributor in the international market will be resolved later.
