Brandy Senki «27:00» – yes, I know, I already featured Brandy Senki prominently a few months ago, but what should I do when a band is so good and immediately presents a great new single after their great EP? My hands are tied, sorry. 🙂 The trio is one of my new (numerous) hopes for the future. They released their first EP in 2023 and have only gotten better since then. Your current single is wonderfully composed, has (as usual with BS) a very catchy melody (even several) and a varied dramaturgy. The video is funny too. The fact that the closing of the door at the end coincides with the final chord of the song is just icing on the cake. One of my absolute hits of the year.
Kiyoshi «Merry-Go-Round» – bassist Kiyoshi takes things a little harder. She has already played with various rock and metal greats, but also regularly releases her own music in which she sings herself. The new single turned out really well.
