English League Cup
Manchester City defeated Newcastle 3-1, in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final, at the Etihad Stadium, in Manchester (ING). After winning the first leg 2-0, the Citizens ended the duel in the first half with goals from Omar Marmoush (twice) and Tijjani Reijnders. The Magpies' goal was scored by Anthony Elanga.

With the result, Manchester City will face Arsenal in the English League Cup final, on March 22, at Wembley Stadium, in London (ING). The Gunners overcame Chelsea in the other semi-final after winning both games 3-2 and 1-0 respectively.
French Cup
With a great goalEndrick decided Lyon's classification against Laval, in the round of 16 of the French Cup. The duel ended 2-0 for the young Brazilian striker's club. In the second half of the match between Lyon and Laval, Endrick dribbled past the marker and shot to score. In the last move, Afonso Moreira took advantage of the goalkeeper's error to close the score.

King's Cup
In Spain, two games moved the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey. Away from home, Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad beat Valencia and Deportivo Alavés 2-1 and 3-2, respectively. The Basque clubs join Barcelona, who, on Tuesday (3), beat Albacete 2-1, with goals from Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araújo.
The last game of the phase will be held on Thursday (5) between Real Betis and Atlético de Madrid, at 5pm (Brasília time), at the La Cartuja Olympic Stadium, in Seville.
DFB Cup
In the duel between Holstein Kiel and Stuttgart, the German first division team won 3-0, with goals from Deniz Undav, Chris Führich and Atakan Karazor. With the result, the Swabians join Bayer Leverkusen, who, on Tuesday (3), beat St. Pauli by the same result.
In the other week, Tuesday (10) and Wednesday (11), Freiburg and Hertha Berlin, and Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, will compete for a place in the other semi-final.
Italian Cup
At the U-Power Stadium, in Monza, Inter Milan beat Torino 2-1, in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia. With goals from Ange-Yoan Bonny and Andy Diouf, the Neurazzuris advanced to the semi-finals of the competition. On Thursday (5), at 5pm (Brasília time), Atalanta and Juventus compete for the other place, at the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, in Bergamo (ITA).
The other two quarter-final matches will be held on Tuesday (10) and Wednesday (11), with duels between Napoli and Como, and Bologna and Lazio.
