Channing Tatum y Naomie Ackie en promos del thriller ‘Blink Twice’

Amazon MGM Studios y Warner Bros. continue to prepare the audience for the theatrical release of the psychological thriller Blink Twicepreviously titled Pussy Islandwhich marks the directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz.

The aura of danger and mystery is once again present in these new promos focused on the characters of Channing Tatum y Naomie Ackie.

The plot follows Frida (Ackie) and Jess (Alia Shawkat), as they are charmed by tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) and lured to his private island for a weekend getaway. What begins as a thrilling vacation soon turns into a reality-bending nightmare and the women soon discover they must escape if they want to live.

SYNOPSIS:

Frida is a young waitress in Los Angeles who has her eyes set on tech mogul Slater King. When she manages to get into an intimate meeting on his private island, Frida senses there's more going on than meets the eye.

The script was co-written by Kravitz y ET Fig Treewith whom Kravitz worked on the script for the series starring Kravitz, High Fidelity.

Other cast members include Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Adria Arjona (Hit Man), Geena Davis (A League of Their Own), Simon Rex (Red Rocket), Christian Slater (The Spiderwick Chronicles), Liz Caribel (God’s Time), y Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Fallout).

The film is produced by Kravitz, Buce Cohen, Garret Levitz and Tiffany Persons, with executive producers Jordan Harkins and Stacy Perskie.

Amazon MGM Studios is on a successful trend with theatrical releases. Late last year they brought to the big screen Saltburn y American Fiction –the latter winner of the Oscar for best original screenplay– and this year they already launched The Beekeperwhich grossed more than $150 million at the global box office. In addition to Blink Twicehis upcoming film releases include the sports romance drama, Challengers by Luca Guadagnino, starring Zendaya, and the comedy My Old Assstarring Aubrey Plaza and produced by Margot Robbie, which the studio acquired at Sundance 2024.

Blink Twice it will be Released in theaters on August 23, 2024 by Amazon MGM Studios in the United States, and by Warner Bros. in the rest of the world. In our country it is titled Blink twice.
