With a theatrical release scheduled for this April, A24 marketing campaign continues psychosexual thriller, Mother Marythe most recent film project of David Lowery.
The film, starring Anne Hathaway y Michaela Coelfollows a pop star (Hathaway) who, after abandoning her tour due to an existential crisis, seeks out an old friend and fashion designer, Sam (Coel), who helped her create her public persona.
“It is not a ghost story. It is not a love story. This is a prayer. A song. A dress. A communion. A betrayal. A sacrifice. A rebirth”.
The most recent are the character posters focused on the protagonists, Hathaway and Coel, as well as the characters played by Hunter Schafer (Cuckoo, Euphoria) –as Coel's assistant–, and FKA Twigs (The Carpenter’s Son).
Twigs also composed original songs for the film along with Jack Antonoff y Charli XCX.
Other cast members include Atheena Frizzell (The Green Knight), Kaia Gerber (Palm Royale), Jessica Brown Findlay (The Flatshare), Isaura Barbé-Brown (The Son), Alba Baptista (Warrior Nun), y Sian Clifford (Fleabag).

Lowery, Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston will produce alongside Jeanie Igoe of Homebird Productions and Jonas Katzenstein, Maximilian Leo and Jonathan Saubach.
Daniel Hart is in charge of the original soundtrack.
This is Lowery's third feature film with A24, after having made together The Green Knight y A Ghost Story.
He Filming took place in Germany.
