Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of oil
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Salt to taste
2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 chopped tomato
1/2 chopped pepper (optional)
Parsley and chives to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for sautéing
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a frying pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden. Add the tomato and pepper, sauté for a few more minutes. Add the shredded chicken, parsley, chives, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.
- In a blender, beat the eggs, milk, oil, wheat flour and salt until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Add the yeast to the dough and mix gently with a spoon.
- In a greased and floured pan, pour half of the dough.
- Spread the chicken filling over the dough in the pan.
- Cover the filling with the rest of the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before unmolding.
- Serve hot or cold, depending on preference.
