Ingredients
1 cooked and shredded chicken breast
1/2 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon of ketchup
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to taste
Olive oil (optional)
Directions
- Cook the chicken breast in salted water until completely cooked.Â
Let cool and shred. - In a frying pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until they are golden.Â
Add the shredded chicken and stir well. - In a bowl, mix the sautéed chicken with the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, lemon juice, salt, pepper and chopped parsley.Â
Make sure all ingredients are well incorporated. - Taste the pâté and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavor to develop.
- Serve the chicken pate with toast, bread, crackers or cut vegetables.
