Ingredients
1/2 pepper
1 carrot
1 onion
1 can of peas
1 can of corn
1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of white rice (white)
3 cups of water (tea)
3 cloves of garlic
4 tablespoons of oil or olive oil
Chopped green pepper to taste
Raisins to taste
Directions
- Heat the oil or olive oil in a pan, add the chopped onion, the minced garlic cloves and sauté until wilted, stirring constantly.
Add the washed rice (or do not wash if you prefer), the salt and sauté for 3 minutes, always stirring well. - Add the chopped peppers and carrots, mix well and add the water.
Mix well, cover and cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes on low heat.
Mix again, add the drained peas and corn, as well as raisins to taste, and stir some more. - Finish by placing chopped green smell to taste over the Christmas rice, transfer to a refractory if you prefer and the recipe is ready to serve.
