It is believed that Nolan can film another part in the Eoilias Islands, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, near the northeast coast of Sicily, and other locations in the United Kingdom and Morocco, although the main location will be on Favignana Island.
The filming will be done using new IMAX technology.
Homer's former Greek poem, composed around the thirteenth century, tells the story of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, and his dangerous trip back home after the Trojan War, exploring songs of heroism, loyalty, cunning and fighting Against the divine will.
