Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 200g grated coconut (can be fresh or dried, depending on your preference)

  • Butter or margarine for greasing

Directions

  • In a pan, mix the condensed milk and grated coconut.
  • Place over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  • Continue cooking and stirring for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the mixture begins to come away from the bottom of the pan and forms a homogeneous mass.
  • Turn off the heat and let the dough cool slightly until it is comfortable to handle.
  • While the dough is still warm, shape small portions into coconuts, using your hands greased with butter or margarine to prevent them from sticking.
  • Place the cocadas on a surface greased with butter or margarine and let them cool completely before serving.
