Cookie Pavé will be delicious with the ingredients below and following the preparation instructions.
Ingredients
1 package of cornstarch cookies
1 can of condensed milk
2 cans of milk (use the can of condensed milk as a measure)
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
200g milk or semi-sweet chocolate (optional, for decoration)
Crushed cookies to decorate
Directions
- In a pan, mix the condensed milk, previously sifted egg yolks, cornstarch and cans of milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until you get a consistent cream.
This will be the base of the cream that will go between the cookie layers. - Remove from heat and add vanilla essence, mixing well.
Let cool. - In a dish, make a layer of cornstarch biscuits at the bottom.
- Cover the cookies with a layer of the prepared cream.
- Continue alternating layers of cookies and cream until you end up with a layer of cream on top.
- If desired, melt the milk or semi-sweet chocolate and spread over the last layer of cream.
- Decorate with crushed cookies on top.
- Refrigerate for a few hours or until the pavé is very firm.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
