Ingredients
2 cups of corn flakes
2 cups green corn (can be canned, but fresh corn is better)
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
A bit of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
- In a blender, place the green corn (drained, if canned), the milk, sugar, oil, eggs and a pinch of salt.
Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture. - In a large bowl, pour the corn flakes and add the blender mixture.
Stir well until the ingredients are completely incorporated. - Add the baking powder and mix again.
- Pour the dough into the greased pan and place in the preheated oven.
- Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
