Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 3 cups of milk

  • 1 cup of oil

  • 2 cups of cornmeal

  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
    Grease a mold with butter and sprinkle cornmeal or wheat flour.
  • In a blender, place the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and beat well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the cornmeal, wheat flour and salt. 
    Beat again until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Add the baking powder and beat quickly just to mix.
  • Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cake cool before unmolding.
  • Serve the cornmeal cake in slices and enjoy!
