3 eggs
2 cups of sugar
3 cups of milk
1 cup of oil
2 cups of cornmeal
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.Â
Grease a mold with butter and sprinkle cornmeal or wheat flour. - In a blender, place the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and beat well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the cornmeal, wheat flour and salt.Â
Beat again until all ingredients are incorporated. - Add the baking powder and beat quickly just to mix.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let the cake cool before unmolding.
- Serve the cornmeal cake in slices and enjoy!
